Ind Club App: Legal Status, Referrals and Red Flags (2026)

Short answer: Ind Club is the name of a real-money gaming app shared in India through download links. Many apps in this “club” group also pay rewards for bringing in new players. Since 1 May 2026, real-money gaming apps are illegal to offer in India, and promoting one, including by sharing referral links, falls under the same law.

What “Club” apps are built around

Apps in this group often have two ways to earn: playing, and inviting. The invite side usually works like this: you share a personal link or code, and you are promised a cut of what the people you invite deposit or bet, sometimes across several “levels” of invites below them. It is pitched as “daily income” or “agent commission”.

Be clear-eyed about what that means. Commission paid on other people’s deposits only exists while new deposits keep coming in. And sharing a link to a real-money game is promotion: the Online Gaming Act bans advertising online money games and treats repeat advertising offences more seriously. You also become the person friends and family blame if their money gets stuck.

No, not as a real-money app. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, in force with its Rules since 1 May 2026, prohibits:

  • offering online money games, whether based on skill or chance (up to 3 years in prison or a fine of up to ₹1 crore);
  • advertising them (up to 2 years or a fine of up to ₹50 lakh);
  • processing payments for them (up to 3 years or a fine of up to ₹1 crore).

Playing is not itself an offence under the Act. The Supreme Court is hearing a challenge to the law, but has not stayed it.

Warning signs before you deposit in Ind Club or a similar app

  • You are asked to pay into a personal UPI ID or a different name on each deposit.
  • Withdrawals need a minimum “turnover” or a set number of invited friends first.
  • Support is only reachable on Telegram or WhatsApp, with no company name or address.
  • A withdrawal is “under review” and you are offered faster release for a fee.
  • The app’s web address has changed since you joined.

Any one of these is a reason to stop depositing. Several together are the usual pattern before an app disappears.

If you already have money in Ind Club

  1. Screenshot your balance, any pending withdrawal and your invite or commission page.
  2. List the UTR number, date and amount of each UPI payment you made.
  3. Raise a complaint on each payment in your UPI app, and report on 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.
  4. Stop sharing your invite link, so others do not deposit on your recommendation.

Questions people ask about Ind Club

Is Ind Club the same as Club INR?

The names are similar, but we have nothing showing they are the same operator. Compare the package IDs and download addresses. Our Club INR page covers that app.

Can I earn money from Ind Club referrals?

Commission depends on the app continuing to pay, and promoting a real-money game is itself prohibited by the Act. It is not a safe source of income.

Is the IND Club app on the Play Store the same one?

Google Play has an app called “IND Club” from a developer listed as JITANSHO PVT LTD. Its store text does not describe real-money play, and we could not confirm it is the same app people deposit into through download links. Google Play does not allow unlicensed real-money gambling apps for India, so a real-money version installed from a link is a separate, unchecked file.
